The overall goal for the logo was straightforward: create a brand mark that would represent The Fairway Apartments in a memorable and timeless manner. Since the apartment complex sits on land that used to be a golf course, one of the key aspects of the project was incorporating a subtle golf theme into the logo. We explored a number of concepts that tied in the golf theme while keeping the mark simple and timeless. After going through a number of sketches, iterations, and revisions, we arrived at a successful result that Mountain West was very happy with.
The last piece of the project was the creation and delivery of a basic logo style guide. This allows Mountain West Investment to use the new logo in a consistent manner throughout their branding and marketing collateral. Coupled with delivering the final logo in a variety of formats for both print and web, we made sure Mountain West was appropriately armed to show The Fairway off to the world.
