Urgent Website Assistance Guidelines

We understand how critical your website is to your business, and we’re here to help. This page outlines what qualifies as urgent assistance when it’s after hours, during holiday breaks, or while I’m away on vacation. Please review the criteria below to determine if your issue meets the requirements for immediate support.

What Qualifies as Urgent?

The following situations are considered urgent and require prompt attention:

  1. Your site is completely down – If your website won’t load at all or it’s giving errors that prevent pages from loading at all (such as internal server errors).
  2. CMS-powered e-commerce functionality is broken – This includes issues like checkout pages not working or product pages failing to display.
  3. CMS-powered front-facing member registration is broken – If users are unable to register or log in to your site.

How to Request Urgent Support

If your issue falls into one of the categories above, please reach out by emailing urgent@block81.com. Be sure to include:

  • A detailed description of the issue
  • Any relevant error messages or screenshots
  • The URL(s) where the issue is occurring

What Happens Next?

Once I receive your request, I’ll assess the situation and respond as soon as possible. Please note that for clients without a retainer, urgent support requests are subject to my After-Hours/Holiday Rush rate of $320/hour.

For non-urgent matters, I’ll be happy to assist during regular business hours when I return.
